Preston Murray, Partner

Preston Murray holds many distinctions in the aviation industry. He presently serves as President of Murray Air, Inc., an ATOS/CSET new entrant Air Carrier that he envisioned, commissioned, directed and supported through the CSET certification process. During the certification process, Preston attended and completed all of the CSET sponsored training including system safety, CPD documents, SAI compliance, manual writing and Adobe.
As President of Murray Air, Inc., Preston manages, staffs, crews and provides logistics for the airframe assets owned by DaimlerChrysler Corporation. He also designed and initiated a corporate passenger shuttle operation that enables individuals to travel in a scheduled environment that provides direct service as required, in fact creating a regional air carrier.
Preston has also made the Murray Air DC-8 60 and 70 series airframes available to support both the just-in-time logistic requirements of DaimlerChrysler, and on contract to the other major automobile industry giants. The aircraft are also available for charter, worldwide and recently support FEMA with hurricane relief to Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi; the US State Department to Afghanistan; and General Motors to Adelaide, Australia.
Preston holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and has completed post graduate work at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University.

Mark Murray began his career in aviation in the mid 70s as a flight follower and has worked in every position that a charter company has to offer before starting his own company in 1983. After successfully selling his first company, Mark started Murray Aviation, Inc. in 1985 and served as President. In 2005, Murray Aviation was merged with Murray Air.
During the period from 1980 to 2005 Mark, a ATP-type rated pilot has served as check airman, Chief Pilot and Director of Operations, of companies operating aircraft with the worst safety record in the industry, Lear Jets and Mitsubishi MUIIs. During his tenure, he has provided direct involvement with the training of over 500 pilots and to this day no one has ever been involved in a accident and or violation while working for Mark.
It is Marks firm belief that safety starts in the class room for both pilots and maintenance personal and is further bolstered by managements commitment to adhere to the Federal Aviation Regulations. It is managements responsibility to create and maintain a environment that fosters a work place that is committed to safety and a strong working relationship with the Federal Aviation Administration.

Thomas Quehl joined sister company, Murray Air, Inc., in November, 2003 as the Director of Operations and assisted the team in achieving 121 Air Carrier Certification. Murray Air, Inc. was certified as an ATOS/CSET approved Air Carrier. During Murrays certification, Tom served as the contact for CPM, Principals and CSET. He was instrumental in the success of the certification. As a result, Tom joined the other partners to create Murray Air Certifications, LLC to assist other entrants in their air carrier certification efforts.
Tom is also approved as Check Airman-All Checks and designed the Initial Cadre Check Airman Program for Murray Air, Inc. Prior to joining Murray Air, Tom held numerous management positions with established air carriers. He served as V.P. of Safety and Compliance, Director of Operations and Chief Pilot at different times during his five year tenure at Arrow Air, Inc.
Prior to that, Tom held the positions of Standards Captain, Aircrew Program Designee, (APD), Check Airman and Acting Director of Flight Standards for American International Airways, (Kalitta), where he was responsible for the supervision of sixty-seven Check Airmen on four different fleets of aircraft including the B-747, L-1011, DC-8 and B-727.
Tom was formally trained and certificated in Aviation Safety Management on September 22, 2000 by the Southern California Safety Institute (SCSI). This certification encompasses both system safety and risk analysis and required in-depth, in-residence training. He also attended and satisfactorily completed ATOS System Safety Training (FAA Class 22006) at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK on October 18, 2002. Tom graduated from St. Petersburg College with a degree in Aviation Technology and also holds an Associate in Arts Degree in General Studies.

Sheryle Milligan,

Sheryle Milligan has an extensive background in Air Carrier Certification. For eighteen years she served as the Director of Regulatory Compliance for DaimlerChrysler Corporation overseeing several certifications from 135 Air Carrier Cargo, 135 Air Carrier Passenger (10 or more) to 135 Air Carrier Passenger (10 or more) with Foreign Ownership.
From there Sheryle went on to assist and oversee the certification efforts for United BizJet/Avolar in Las Vegas. After the closing of United BizJet/Avolar, Sheryle elected to become a full-time consultant assisting others in their certification efforts. She was instrumental in the success of USA Jet Airlines and Murray Air, Inc. in their 121 Air Carrier Certifications.
Based on Sheryles demonstrated abilities, experience and rapport within the industry, she was instrumental in Murray Air, Inc. decision to pursue other certification ventures and create Murray Air Certifications, LLC.
Sheryle is highly thought of by FAA Principal Inspectors and CSET Team Members throughout the United States. Her understanding of the certification process has been called upon by the FAA to assist in training new entrants.
Sheryle has attended, completed and assisted in the CSET sponsored training for USA Jet Airlines, Murray Air, Inc., and Skybus Airlines, LLC. She has attended the system safety training, CPD document training, manual writing training, Adobe Training, SAI compliance training and the initial new entrant training. In addition to the FAA/CSET sponsored training Sheryle has completed and is certificated in ISO/QS 9000 Implementation, Documentation and Executive Overview Training.
Sheryle has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Atworth University in Nevada.

Kenneth Leighton was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration from 1988 until 2005 when he joined Murray Air Certifications, LLC.
Kens most recent assignment within the FAA was a 121 Air Carrier Certification Standards and Evaluation (CSET) Team Member (Airworthiness). Ken served as a CSET Team Member for three and one-half years. During his tenure with CSET, Ken was involved with five Air Carrier Certifications. During his last six months with CSET, Ken as a presenter on the Applicant Manual Development Training Workshop Team. He also provided training to Air Carriers on the Industry Operations Specifications System for FAA Washington Headquarters (AFS-260). Ken was an integral part of the CSET/FAA Team that developed and designed the present certification and surveillance process for 121 Air Carriers and the Manual Development Training and Workshop Presentation.
Prior to Kens assignment on the CSET Team, he served as a Principal Maintenance Inspector assigned to manage a major Class 4 Airframe Repair Station, Major Power Plant Repair Station and numerous 135 Air Carriers. Ken was part of thirteen National Aviation Safety Inspection Program (NASIP) Teams that conducted in-depth inspections of CFR Part 121 and 135 Air Carriers as well as CFR Part 145 Repair Stations.
Ken is a Qualified Aircraft Accident Investigator in Charge (IIC) and expert witness for accidents and CFR violations. He is also qualified as an ISO 900 Quality Assurance Auditor.
Ken completed Course 21429, Air Transportation Oversight System ATOS, on May 8, 2002; Course 22006, System Safety, on March 28, 2002; and Course 21618, Air Carrier Transition, on February 22, 1991.

Ron Ball,
Subject Matter Expert Operations
With our unique blend of civilian, military, and commercial aviation experience, each of the Murray Air Certifications team contributes to a smooth, safe, and efficient process for our clients.

Ron Ball has over 38 years experience in the Military and the Aviation Industry. He is presently a commercial airline pilot with USAirways in the Washington, DC area. He has accumulated over 18,000 hours with the airlines in over 26 years at Eastern Airlines and USAirways. Aircraft flown include the B-727, B-737, DC-9, and the Airbus A320. Ron holds ratings of Air Transport Pilot, Flight Engineer, Instructor Pilot and type ratings on the Boeing 737 and the Airbus A320.
His civilian career in the airline world has exposed Ron to almost every aspect of airline operations. At Eastern Airlines and USAirways, he has worked projects in RVSM, flight crew rest requirements, dispatch operations and operational control and almost every aspect of training. His safety background is extensive.
His military career spanned 29 years with the US Air Force and the Maryland Air National Guard. He flew the A-10 Warthog for over 19 years with the Air Guard. Previously, he flew the OV-10A and the A-7D, amassing almost 4,000 hours in the military. In the Air Guard, Ron rose to the rank of Colonel and commanded an Operations Group that included a squadron of C-130Js and a squadron of A-10As. As an A-10 Squadron Commander, he also commanded over 400 maintenance personnel, gaining extensive experience in line maintenance.
Ron has completed ATOS System Safety Training (FAA Class 22006) and ATOS Formal Training (FAA Class 22007).
Ron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University and has done graduate work in Systems Analysis at the University of Southern California.

Tony Adamski

Anthony (Tony) Adamski, Ph.D., is a member of the Murray Air Certification, LLC team which provides 14 CFR 121 certification consulting services. He is also an Associate Professor at Eastern Michigan University and is currently the Program Coordinator for the Aviation Flight Technology Program there.
Tony was a founding officer (Vice President Special Services) of Chrysler Pentastar Aviation. In addition to his university responsibilities, Tony is the principal author of the text Introduction to the Aviation Regulatory Process. He has co-authored chapters in the Handbook of Aviation Human Factors and the Handbook of Cognitive Task Design. He also developed college courses on aviation regulations and flight operations management and served as special faculty for the Senior Level Aviation Management Program of the US Governments Interagency Committee for Aviation Policy.
Tony has over 40 years of aviation experience, holds an ATP and is currently working on a text which addresses safety management systems and explores the FAAs new Air Transportation Oversight System.

Aaron Enzer

Aaron Enzer has been providing computer services as an IT consultant since 1992. He specializes in complete IT solutions, often working in partnership with customers IT departments to help deliver the hardware and software that best meet customers needs.
Aaron has in-depth knowledge of aviation as he holds an ATP and is type rated in the Cessna Citation, Lear Jet, Lockheed Electra and DC-8. He has worked as a captain for both FAR 135 and FAR 121 airlines.
For Murray Air Certification clients, he creates custom software development and management tools. He can design and manage the development of software projects for certification from simple desktop applications to complete company-wide software solutions. His goal is to deliver a user interface that is both easy to understand and efficient to use for MAC clients, as well to provide the training users need to get the most value out of the software.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies from the University of North Dakota with a Minor in Meteorology.
